Friday 3 C’s

For the past three months, I’ve been waiting to share some news.

The wait wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be.

Something fun happened yesterday and…
I get to share on Monday! I’d love for you to join me.

Let’s Talk: What are your cares, concerns, and celebrations today? I don’t know if you realize how much I look forward to reading them on Fridays, so thanks for sharing!removetweetmeme

Are we allowed to guess? Nah, I'll be patient and wait for Monday. πŸ™‚

It's been a long wait for you so I'm trusting Monday's news is what you were hoping for. I'll be back on Monday with party balloons, ready to help celebrate. Might have to bring some chocolate cake, too. It isn't a party without lots of chocolate.

  3. Robyn Campbell

I can't wait! I'm not that patient. Why do you tease us so?? πŸ™‚

My three C's haven't changed. You probably get bored, because mine never change so I'll spare you. But Ivy is up for a 4-H award tonight. There will be food too. πŸ˜‰

But I don't wanna wait until Monday!

Cares: Just feeling generally overwhelmed. I know it will pass. Probably just need a good nap!

Concerns: My job is changing next year. I should get the final word by the end of Feb. I am ready for the decision to be made. The speculation is making me crazy.

I'm about ready to stomp my feet! I want news!!!!

Concerns: My editor emailed me and told me she was really enjoying my manuscript and I should have answer soon. Well, if she buys it, I'll be excited, but if she doesn't I'll be crushed after an email like that. πŸ™ So now I'm on pins and needles… I wish she hadn't said anything. LOL

I'm with Jill. I'll be happy dancing for you all weekend, Katie.

And I'm bringing a bushel basket full of noise makers on Monday, the kind that squawk when you blow them and unfurl a colorful "tongue," 'cause after all the waiting you've done, girlfriend, this party is gonna be wild. And wonderful. And loud!

  8. T. Anne

You know I'm happy dancing for you already. I'm not 100 percent sure, but I think I have an inkling. I cannot wait for Monday's big news. I'll bring confetti and brownies. I think Erica covered everything else.

Cares: that I won't be able to find our winter gear in the garage this weekend.
Concern:do I really want to leave eighty degree weather for snow?
Celebrations: my cupcake class is finished! Thank you Jesus!

Cares: That my students will do well on their midterm exams.

Concerns: That my students will not do well on their midterm exams because exam week has been peppered with snow days, so consistency has been incredibly difficult.

Celebrations: Another snow day today : ) (I didn't sleep well last night, so having a day to take it easy is kind of nice, despite it exacerbating my cares and concerns … life is strange)

  20. Jill Kemerer

I'll just go ahead and happy dance for you all weekend long, girl! Can't wait to come back on Monday!

Concerns: I choreographed a dance routine for our grade school cheerleaders and they're debuting it tonight. I hope it goes well!
