Friday 3 C’s

Cares:
Your outpouring of excitment and congratulations from Monday’s announcement absolutely blew me away. It made an already special moment a thousand times richer. I teared up reading many of the comments. Thank you SO much for the support!

Many of you follow Krista Phillips. Many of you know about her baby girl Annabelle’s heart. They got some test results back yesterday and they have a big decision to make regarding Annabelle’s care. I’m praying God gives her and Scott overflowing clarity, guidance, wisdom, and peace. Please pray too.

Concerns:
None really. Not this week.

Celebrations:
I want to celebrate you today! Tell me, what has made you smile or laugh or cheer this week?

And just for fun:
Every Wednesday, we have a big family dinner over at my aunt and Grandma’s house. They make something different each week and it’s a fun time to kick back and connect with family. This Wednesday, my mom surprised me with this:

It was very yummy!

And there’s no reason for this picture, I just got a kick out of how much Brogan enjoyed this box.

Let’s Talk: So really – what have you celebrated this week in your life? What cares and concerns are on your heart?

I got some really encouraging news yesterday about the first book in my trilogy, which will release in April and launch in May. Celebration!

We love you; I got teary-eyed when I saw the cookie.

This week I received word that CBN.com is going to publish two of my deovtionals online. No monetary payment, but the readership is ONE MILLION! I am more excited than a glue salesman at a wallpaper convention!!!

Will pray for Annabelle, and her parents. That one makes our worries seem small indeed…

There's nothing like a good box to make a kid happy.

I wrote about my little slice of happiness on my blog today. Just my boys. Sometimes, they make me feel like the queen of the castle.

Wow, we won't be able to call him "the little guy" much longer!

    I'm celebrating your success. πŸ™‚

I could have eaten the entire cookie myself…you know celebration:)

    Enjoy the mountaintop Katie!

Concerns: I've been praying over some areas in my life. I need a supernatural strength to make it to the other side of the storm.

Well this week I celebrated having a healthy baby! Went to get my 20 week ultrasound today and the little guy was doing very well! Oh and we found out it's a boy, which has me beyond thrilled!!

Also, that cookie picture made me drool. πŸ™‚

I'm celebrating: my friends, my family, good books, unexpected conversations, and a good cup of tea.

I'm not going to list cares and concerns, because I'm trying to focus on something else right now. πŸ™‚

Your family is so sweet–the cookie says it all!

Boy, Brogan gets cuter every month, doesn't he? Fun, fun age!

I have a sick kid on the couch today, and he's missing his big basketball game tonight, so that's my care. I feel bad for him!

What a fun way to celebrate with your family and I love the picture of the little guy!

I celebrated three birthdays over the weekend and that was fun! My oldest is graduating from her karate class this weekend and she's really excited because she got enough stripes on her belt to get a trophy. Her first trophy, I better remember to bring the camera πŸ™‚

Hope you have a great weekend!

Isn't it funny how big boxes can entertain for hours? Too bad we have to buy an expensive toy to get the box out of the deal.

My 3 C's are mostly the same as last week. Still praying for my sister as she waits for a heart and celebrating the times I get to share with her in the hospital while we wait.

    Have a great weekend!

Cool cookie cake. Delicious and alliterative! Yup, save yourself lots of do-re-mi and just give your little guy boxes to play with.

I am celebrating the birth of my good friend's first child, a beautiful baby boy!
I also got hit in the head with a realization this week. Ever since I have been involved in the social media scene (only the past month) life has been full of a flurry of activity. However, I really felt God calling me to something about mid-week that I am still reflecting on and learning how to incorporate into the new reality that is my life: "slow down and listen". Hard to listen amongst the many new and often loud voices around me, but I pray that God will help me slow down a bit and that I can hear His voice loudest!

Thanks for sharing! What I celebrated this week: some progress in my son's potty training…He's trying very hard and we're getting there. Small steps, but worthy of a celebration πŸ™‚

Oh, I need to meet your little B. in the box! πŸ˜€

I love that cookie cake! I love that they had it made, that you got to eat it! Love that!

You crack me up with your foot. We are so twins! I messed mine up good earlier this week. Dexterity of champions!

Cares:Prepare for slumber party take two. These girls are younger so it shouldn't be as wackadoo.
Concerns: My mind can be a scary place. Everything gets so tangled up there.
Celebrations: Two more birthdays this week and I finished the rough of my fifth novel. I'd say that makes for a heehaa!

    Love ya!

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED reading about your exciting news on Monday. I'm so thrilled for you, and our other agentmates who celebrated their first sales this month.

My mom called me this week with news that is better than any book deal–she stopped smoking after doing it for over 3 decades. Such incredible news, and another testament to God's refining grace.

Still praying for hubby to get a job. Doors are opening, but closing before he can walk through. I know God is holding us in the palm of His hand. I'm trying not to let discouragement to get a foothold in my faith. It's not always easy.

Okay you totally should have put a warning on this post – I haven't had breakfast yet. Now all I want is CAKE!!!! Ack. How beautiful was that – your mom is precious!!
At the moment I'm achy, which isn't fun living with, still coughing, but not so much – apparently they call it the 100 day cough – go me for picking that one up!! I'm still celebrating with YOU and all the other wonderful news that keeps coming from the Wordserve gang. And I'm going to shoot you an email today so we can catch up a bit. xo

Awww! My kiddos love boxes too. Cute cookie!
What made me laugh was a video on facebook. I'm posting it on my blog next week. LOL
And I actually was just thinking of Annabelle this morning, so thanks for the update.
    Have a great Friday!
