Spring is in the air!
This week is spring break for many of the schools in my area. No Bible study on Tuesday. No small group on Tuesday night. No youth group on Wednesday night. No preschool for my little man, B. The weather is great. And I’m in the middle of some very intense rewrites.
Which means….
I’m taking a break to enjoy my son, enjoy the weather, and enjoy these rewrites.
I’ll see you on Monday, March 19th. Giveaways for my debut novel will commence!
Three Random Thoughts:
- Even though I’m not blogging, I’ll still be hanging out on my Facebook Author page. I’d love to see you over there!
- While you’re there, don’t forget to vote for a name for my hero in book 2. So far, Ian is winning.
- Who lives near Minneapolis? On May 18th and 19th, I’ll be signing books at Lifeway Christian Stores and would love to meet you!
Let’s Talk: Are you going anywhere for spring break? Are you doing anything for St. Patty’s Day? Have you read any good books lately? I’m listening to The Book Thief on audio and it’s so good!
Picking up The Book Thief tomorrow, on hold at the library.
Enjoy the time with your two wonderful Guys!
Enjoy your break! I know I am! 🙂
Wow, it’s spring break already?! Enjoy your time away, Katie!
Enjoy the break! 🙂
Enjoy your break!
Glad you like The Book Thief–it’s one of my favs. I’ll head over to your FB page this week to check in.

Enjoy your break!! Spring in Arizona is so lovely. I wish I could take time off. I miss those days of being home with my son when he was on Spring Break. We would go hiking together.
Have fun!
Enjoy your much deserved break and enjoy the rewrites!
Want to send a bit of your Spring my way? I thought it was getting soooo gorgeous and then…woke up to snow this morning. And now dad and brother are stacking wood on the front porch.
I will refrain from saying anything unChristain about the weather…
Oh, it’s Spring Break? I don’t get those anymore. And since I don’t have kids yet, I didn’t notice. 😛 But I love spring…spring, spring, spring! Reminds me of the song from Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Love it!
And yes, in fact I’m in the middle of a very good book. Hmmm, it’s called Wildflowers From Winter. Heard of it? 😛
St. Paddy’s day is my dad’s 93rd birthday. It’s also the annual cooking of the Corned Beef for Himself’s dinner. A pretty big feat for an Italian girl to pull off. Himself’s Spring Break also starts. Enjoy your time off
The Book Thief is one of my very favorite books! But… make sure after you listen to it on audio, you find a way to check out the actual, physical book at least one time so you can *see* the pages. That’s all I’ll say. Happy early Spring! 🙂
Enjoy your break, Katie. I hope your rewrites go well.
