There’s a first time for everything and firsts ought to be celebrated!
An October Bride is available on audio!
I don’t know about you, but in this crazy busy world, audio books are an excellent way to fit the books I want to read into my life. Driving while reading. Walking while reading. Or my personal favorite, cleaning while reading. You really can’t beat it!
To celebrate this fun first, I’m giving away three copies of An October Bride, on audio.
If you’ve already read it on e-book, don’t let that stop you from entering. It would make a great Christmas gift for the busy readers in your life.
Do you listen to books on audio? Why or why not?

What if the only way you could make your father’s last wish come true . . . was to marry the man of your dreams?
Emma Tate has just moved on from one fiancé, so when she announces a sudden engagement to her lifelong buddy Jake Sawyer, every busybody in Mayfair goes into high alert. Of course, no one but Jake and Emma know the real reason they’re getting married—so Emma’s dying father will have a chance to walk her down the aisle.
But while Jake and Emma move forward with their plan—and frantically plan an October wedding—it becomes clear that their agreement has a few complications . . . the biggest being their true feelings for each other.
With dubious friends, deliriously thrilled parents, and a town that won’t keep its nose out of their business, Emma and Jake will have a lot to contend with if they’re going to pull this off. The real question is: Who wants this wedding more, Emma’s dad . . . or Emma?

I’d love to listen to “An October Bride” on audio! I read your novella last month and loved it! 🙂
And no, until now (if I win), I have not listened to books on audio. But if I win this, I’ll most definitely start! 🙂
I buy audio book s for my sister who has had 3 brain surgerys and can’t read well anymore so I get her christian audio book like Lauraine Snelling that is why I am here today thank you so much
since I’m legally blind, audio books are how I enjoy my books. I appreciate you providing an audio version. Blessings, Susan
I don’t listen to audio books often, just a little at a time, so it does tend to take me a longer time to finish them.
I’d love to win this audio book of An October Bride for an elderly lady in my church. She is in her 80’s and her eye sight is not good. When I pass my books along to her, she has to use a magnifying glass to read them, unless they are large print. I’d love to see the joy on Betty’s face if I could present her with this CD. I wish you could meet her. She walks with the use of crutches but she always has a smile on her face.
Winter is here, and I need all the help I can get to survive the cold months. Comfy chair, blanket or fire in the fireplace and a good story…….life is good!
I love audiobooks. When they first came out or became really popular, I was cross stitching and knitting and thought, “oh my gosh, I can ‘read’ a book and knit at the same time” It was great. I love listening as I travel to and from work (altho am retiring in 44 days–but who’s counting?– so am wondering how I will get all my books listened to! Guess I’ll have to do more housework and knitting.) Would love to be a winner of one of yours to listen to Here’s hoping.
I do a lot of traveling in the weekend and have made my way through many books I wouldn’t have had time for otherwise. I love the fact my library has audio books.
No I don’t listen to audio books in the car, I prefer to have a book in my hand and when I am finishing a chapter I use a bookmark to hold my place

I listen to books while driving on a trip or while cleaning, etc at home.
I LOVE audio books! I review books so for me. I am able to do more that way, and because of eye issues, I can’t see well, I can still enjoy books and “reading”
I am perpetually reading in multiple formats — an eBook on my Kindle, several in print and ALWAYS an audiobook ready in the car whenever I hop in . . . it might take me a while sometimes, but that’s Okay. I can always go visit my sister and then that’s 1 hour each way. If I win a copy of your new romance novella, I’ll listen to it and then add it to our small collection of Audiobooks at the Highlands Community Church library for others to listen to, as well. Thanks, Katie!
I usually don’t listen to audio books I prefer to read them but my cousin loves audio books! I read this book and know she would never read it but would love to listen to it. To me there is just nothing better than snuggling up and getting lost in a good book. But I know not everyone is the same way 🙂
I like to listen to audio books when I am in the car for a long period of time
I used to listen audio books when I had to drive to work an hour each way. Now I work from home. I still wouldn’t mind a copy of October Bride. I’ve loved your other books and look forward to reading this one.
Road trips are my time to audio book binge 🙂
I’m really interested in getting into audio books more. That will free me up to iron, etc. while I enjoy a book. Win-Win!
I don’t listen now because my player is broken but used to
I listen to them when I run my long runs. This book would be perfect!
I can only listen when I’m alone in the car because of all the kid interruptions at home.
I love audio books. I love reading!! I listen to audio books while I’m working. Great way to make the day zip buy and have some fun, too!
I don’t usually listen to books on audio, but it’d make cooking more enjoyable.
My husband is deaf in one ear, and it’s hard for him to hear books on the car radio. Music is easier when we travel long distances.
I’d love to be entered in your drawing. Thanks. joyfuljelatgmaildotcom
I also like to listen to audio while I’m cooking or baking! Which unfortunately…isn’t as often as I probably could be cooking or baking. 😉
I to listen to books when I am cooking. They are also great when you are working on your Christmas project or on a road trip.
I sometimes listen to audio books on long trips, especially if I am driving alone, but that is about it. I’m guessing this isn’t to long, so I might be able to listen to it on the commute to and from work (about 30 minutes each way)!
It’s not too long at all! You totally could do that, Patty! 🙂
