What a fun way to dive back into blogging last week! I enjoyed reading about everyone’s summers. As promised, I have five goodie packages ($5 gift card to Starbucks, Gone South by Meg Moseley, Wishing on Willows, and bookmarks) to give away. I had my roommate at the American Christian Fiction Writers conference choose five random numbers between one and fifty-two and the winners are….
Patty
Jes @ Jesus Freak Reader
Julie Sunne
Rachel Britz
Andrea Garrett
Congrats, blogger friends! Please email me (katie@katieganshert.com) with your mailing addresses and I will make sure those get out to you soon!
And now for some fun picture time!
Every year in September, there’s a big writing conference called the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) Conference. It’s so much fun to hug and hang out with writer friends! Some much needed rejuvenation! You might recognize some faces….
My oldest writing buddy and critique partner, Jeannie Campbell!
A selfie with the fabulous Krista Phillips
The amazing Amy Haddock (marketer extraordinaire) and the inspiring Robin Jones Gunn at the Waterbrook Multnomah dinner
Carrie Turansky, Joanne Bischof, and Mona Hodgson – the historical romance trio!
Apparently, you have to be blonde to be in this photo….
Boxing it up with fellow Carol Award nominee, Jordyn Redwood
Loved having dinner with Susan Meissner
It’s Becky Wade and Dani Pettrey!
Dineen Miller and Ronie Kendig!
Started the conference off right by having dinner with my agent and fellow agency mate, Lisa Jordan
Highlight of the weekend – breakfast with the Debs (all four of us debuted our novels in the same month) and the Rel Mollet
The DEBS! Olivia Newport, me, Dani Pettrey, and Beth Vogt
Your Turn: What rejuvenates you?
I will say our Deb breakfast was a refreshing time for me, Katie. And it was a delight to celebrate you as you won your Carol for your debut novel. Brava, my friend.
What rejuvenates me?
The smoothie machine at PANERA! 🙂
LOL, I love sitting in a cozy booth and just listening to it while reading a book or writing or just being quiet…it’s SO soothing. 🙂
Looks like you an an AWESOME time at the ACFW conference! Happy for you and cannot wait to read your new book!
Typo correction, I mean to say “Looks like you HAD an AWESOME time…” not “you an an”. Sorry! Typed too quickly!
It was great seeing you, girl!!! Praying you are NOT at ACFW next year… *wink* *wink*
Congratulations, Katie, & thanks for the pics!
Yay! So excited to win. Your books are wonderful–I love to gift them!
A big congrats to you on your book and I love seeing all the pictures. Hugs!
