- 10 Almost Reasons Why We’re Adopting by Kathy Buchanan
I met Kathy in person recently and she’s wonderful. She and her husband are also adopting from Africa, so we made an immediate connection. A lot of their reasons for adopting are the same as ours.
I love adoption blogs. So if there are any that you frequent, pretty please share a link in the comment section!

It’s so easy to pay God lip-service and say we trust Him, but do we really? Sarah gets to the practicality of the matter. What does trusting God really look like?

Let’s Talk: Any cares, concerns, or celebrations from the week? Have any blog posts or articles grabbed your attention?
Recently, I’ve been so gripped by God’s redemption. How He can take all our scars and hurts and ugly spots and produce something beautiful. It’s as if He’s pressing that powerful truth against my heart, whispering, “This is so important, Katie. For so many.” If this is a message that speaks to your heart or makes your soul thirst, consider checking out the first three chapters of Wildflowers from Winter, or take a look at the amazing real-life stories of redemption in the Wildflowers from Winter blog tour.

Great round-up of links, Katie! Hope you have a terrific weekend!
Aw, Katie, thanks for including the link to my blog post. 🙂
Cares/concerns: I recently decided I needed to scale back my writing goals just a bit. It was a hard decision to make, but I just don’t want to run myself ragged. That’s no way to enjoy the fall, the holidays, and time with my husband.
Celebrations: I get to go to a writing retreat in 2 weeks and see a few writer buddies again!
a wonderful selection of links, katie…thanks for sharing
These all look like amazing links (and I’ve already read Lindsay’s!).
My cares, concerns and celebrations are all wrapped up in God’s unfailing love this week. I’ve been blown away to watch His will unfold in my life time and time again, but more recently, since being obedient to go to ACFW (not that that was a hard thing to obey!), I’ve just sat back and watched the crazy cool things He’s doing – not only in my life, but in the life of my writer friends. One of the greatest blessings in joining a network of other writers is watching more than just my dream unfold.
Great links, Katie. Thanks for including mine among them. 🙂
Great line up. Man, lots more to check out here.
