My First Author Interview

I’m over at Keli Gwyn’s today! Please join me for my first (and hopefully not my last) author interview. (As of right now, 6:30 a.m. central time, the interview isn’t posted yet, but I hope you come back later to read it!)

Yesterday I had a very nasty combination of no motivation and no creativity, which resulted in blah. What do you do to combat the blah’s?

I also ate a habanero and thought my tongue might fall off.removetweetmeme

I call in my cheerleaders, or I read some of the postive feedback I've gotten from clients and beta readers.

Hhhhmmm, chic movies and romance books are my way of escape! I would do lots and lots of chocolate, but that is not really on my WW plan! lol

Great interview, by the way! Your passion for life shines through!

I'm hustling over to read the interview.

Um, habanero? At least you can say. "Been there, Done that, Won't do it again."

    And Squee!

Hey everybody! Thanks for your support and much-needed advice on combatting the blahs. I got a speeding ticket this morning. I totally deserved it. It's not my first. Dratted led foot! But the blah's are most certainly gone. I hope to share what made them go away very, very soon. πŸ™‚

Hope you enjoy the interview! It was super fun!

Talk to my friends, and wonder why I ever started writing, not necessarily in that order, of course. πŸ™‚

    Have a wonderful Monday evening!

Um…I definitely don't use spice to beat the blahs πŸ˜‰

I find something light-hearted. I will watch a scene in a movie, or read a chapter in a book – anything that's my favorite that will help lift my spirits. The hard part is not getting sucked in to the rest of the story!

Katie, my most sincere apologies for being late to publish your interview. I wish I had a good reason, but I simply forgot. My bad! I'm so sorry for the delay and feel terrible about my mistake.

I do hope you'll check out Katie's interview. She did a great job answering the questions. You'll learn what inspires her as well as some interesting character traits she possesses.

I have two blogs, and the interview is at the one for writers called Romance Writers on the Journey.

Oh gosh, stay away from the Habeneros!!! Ack! My blah's? Honestly sometimes I have them while writing, how sad is that? Other times I have to shut the lap top and have a pity party. *sigh* True. I'll go check out your interview and I hope its the first of many so ha! πŸ˜‰

You are too funny and brave!

I can't wait to read your interview- congratulations. I know it will not be your last.

Sunday was similar for me, except instead of blah I really concentrated on my intimate time with the Lord. It was great!

I'm kind of having a case of the blah's today so I'm going to tried to fight it off with caffeine and some loud music while I clean the kitchen! I'll definitely check out the interview.

I combat the blahs with exercise. Treadmill, DVDs, or weightlifting all get the energy flowing and sometimes the creative juices as well. (Of course this would be after a bit of chocolate and/or a scoop of ice cream.)

I read your status update on FB and it brought a smile to my face. πŸ˜€

I went to Keli's, but saw something about swine flu. I'll have to check again. Congratulations!

To combat the blah's I play music REALLY loudly and dance. But the music has to be REALLY LOUD. πŸ˜€

I'll definitely be checking that interview out, Katie. It will NOT be your last, silly!

The blahs? Oh, how I suffer the blahs from time to time. Usually the only thing that cures my blahs is a really hard workout and a good night's sleep.

The blahs… oh gosh. I hate them. I go boxing. That is what I do to combat blahs. I beat the heck out of them πŸ™‚

Congrats on your first interview :))
